Richard Murphy
Consultant
Richard became a consultant adviser to Wingrave Yeats in 2003.
He qualified with a small firm of accountants in London and then joined Deloitte, Plender, Griffiths & Co in 1970. In 1980 he joined the London office division (now known as Greater London Middle Market Division of PwC), which specialises in providing audit and accounting services to a wide range of companies and organisations, becoming a partner in 1984.
Richard’s clients have included listed and quoted companies and substantial private companies covering a wide range of industries including companies providing retail, catering, property management and accommodation services.
In addition to his risk management, compliance and reporting role, he has been closely involved with many of his clients in providing overall business planning and strategic advice and in assisting with the raising of development and conventional finance and due diligence investigations.
Richard has contributed to seminars and conferences on accounting and related areas and was risk management and technical partner for the middle market division.
