We put great emphasis on training. We assume that our people will leave if we fail to educate and challenge them. Continuous training is therefore part of the ‘contract’ between trainee and firm.
 
Wingrave Yeats is a Graduate Training Office for ACA (ICAEW, ICAS) and ACCA students. More specifically we offer our staff:

• Full exam training and paid leave in accordance with ICAEW guidelines

• External courses arranged through Pass Training and ad-hoc courses arranged for specific needs such as advanced Excel tuition

• Regular monthly meetings of all members of the team to discuss current technical issues. For example, discussions about issues in Accountancy Magazine or lectures on current topics

• Staff are trained in the business’s auditing procedures which are based on the PCAS system augmented and tailored by Trevor Roberts

• Constant access to the knowledge base maintained by the firm

Senior staff and principals also attend specialist external courses and conferences and other technical events such as budget briefings.
