John Orpen

Consultant Adviser

John is an adviser to the firm. He retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2005.

John was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for 22 years from May 1982 to January 2005, starting his career with Deloitte, Plender, Griffiths & Co in 1969. He specialised in tax and since becoming a partner he has been responsible for creating and then building the PwC specialist services in the UK to Private Clients and successful entrepreneurs together with their private or quoted companies. From 1996 he was the managing partner of this business in the UK, and after 1998 he was also responsible for developing the business in Europe.

The range of advice provided by PwC for his clients covered their diverse needs from tax through corporate finance strategic planning and succession planning to investment.
