I joined Wingrave Yeats from a big four audit firm in 2006. At that point in time I was still a trainee and was very short on experience in the world of accounting and audit. I was quickly thrust into the front line and found the level of responsibility daunting at first, but ultimately exhilarating. The level of belief that Wingrave Yeats had in my abilities was very empowering and gave me the confidence to succeed and to seek out ever greater challenges.

I will be forever grateful for the opportunities afforded to me in my time at Wingrave, both in terms of my own career progression, my development as an accountant, the wide range of experience gained and the people I have worked with.

Monday morning will always be Monday morning and it would be a lie to say that I skip to work whistling a merry tune, however, I do enjoy my job very much. There is regular banter in the office, successful football and netball teams, a wide variety of work, great colleagues and the traditional swift half on a Friday evening; all of which have helped convince me that as long as I remain in practice, moving to another firm is out of the question.
