Trevor has many years’ experience in advising clients on auditing, accounting and financial reporting issues and his clients include listed companies and the UK subsidiaries of US listed parents as well as owner-managed businesses. His current audit clients includes a group that has recently entered the FTSE 250 and his experience covers a number of sectors including retail, leisure, hotels, financial services and media as well as advising clients in the charitable sector.

In addition to the above, Trevor has advised many clients on fundraising and strategic management issues, including acting as reporting accountant on IPO’s and carrying out due diligence investigations. He has also carried out various ad hoc reporting assignments including carrying out investigations for clients into potential frauds and reporting on insurance claims. Trevor is a regular speaker at the IPO Club on issues involving listed companies.


After qualifying with a predecessor firm of Baker Tilly where he became a senior audit manager and the firm’s technical manager, Trevor joined Grant Thornton's national office where he was a senior manager in charge of client services support. Trevor joined Wingrave Yeats in 1999 as a partner in the firm’s business advisory department. Trevor is the firm’s technical and compliance partner and is in charge of the firm’s risk management and internal audit services

Trevor has also acted as the financial director of a property investment company for many years.
